The Red Horse Inn is the bed and breakfast
in South Carolina located in the foothills of the
Blue Ridge Mountains, creating the perfect backdrop for your
weekend getaways for
couples, memorable
honeymoon vacation or important
corporate retreat.
The Main Inn offers two large rooms with generous glass doors that
flow onto a vine draped arbor patio. The expansive
Blue Ridge Mountains can be viewed from inside as well as from
under the arbor and extensive patio. A garden
filled courtyard with pond and patio complete the romantic
scene. Sit and relax under our arbor as you read a book or use our
free wireless Internet access anywhere in the main Inn. All cottages
and rooms have seasonal
fireplaces, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, TV's and DVD
players, alarm clocks, noise machines, ceiling fans and more. Please
inquire if you would like an accommodation with satellite TV... five
of the cottages offer this additional luxury. Check-in is between 4
pm and 6 pm. Check-out is at 11 am.

The Inn Rooms
Six bedroom suites, each with a fireplace and whirlpool, are available for your choosing as you explore our diverse area. Each suite is decorated in a different style. Some rooms are designed for the ultimate romantic weekend. Others are better suited for the perfect getaway. The East Room and Gable Room provide private entrances for additional privacy. The other four rooms are located off our beautiful garden filled courtyard. All of the Inn rooms have a delightful "kitchen closet" providing a plentiful breakfast that allows you to sleep as late as you like. Free wireless Internet access is in all Inn rooms and everywhere in the main Inn. The suites are comfortably priced at $175.00 to $205.00 per night, plus tax. |

The Cottages
White clapboard houses with green tin roofs dot the distant hillside. Rocking chairs beckon to be filled by relaxing guests. Six Victorian cottages, each with a kitchen, bedroom, bath and living room with fireplace may be reserved. Three of the cottages have whirlpool tubs. The Springhouse, Hayloft and Grainary cottages have private outdoor hot tubs. The cottages are light filled with cathedral ceilings and large windows that frame the mountain views. Cotton sheets, thick luxurious towels and thoughtful touches will make you feel pampered. Our cottages luxuriously hold one couple each and are comfortably priced from $210 to $315 d/o, or only $295 for the Huntbox for a family of four (two adults, two children). Housekeeping is optional. |

Breakfast
The Red Horse Inn has a unique way of providing breakfast. Relax in the privacy of your own accommodation and enjoy the meal that we prepared right before your arrival. In both the cottages and the Inn rooms, you will find a breakfast that consists of jumbo muffins or croissants and fresh fruit parfaits that will tempt you. Or, you may find whole fruit that is overflowing from a nearby wicker basket. The egg casseroles or quiche will delight you, as will the fresh orange juice and the oatmeal and grits. Coffee and tea are waiting to be brewed. Please let us know if you prefer decaf coffee when you make your reservation. All rooms and cottages have their own coffee makers and microwaves. All cottages except the Stables have full kitchens, complete with a stove, pots and pans and full sized refrigerators. The Inn rooms have mini-fridges to store your delightful breakfast. |
